In this Life, Friendship Matters

Proverbs 18:24 NIV
"One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother"

Trust is one of the things we give to our friends. In fact, it is the foundation of every relationship. Our trusted friend/s is/are always there for us. They always listen, always understand, always encourage, always care, and always love. "Mere presence is a support". In friendship, you always have each other's back. It is a mutual relationship. The experiences you had with your friends, good or bad, made your bond/s stronger. Whenever and wherever I have faith that friendship grounded in trust is a rock-solid friendship.

Junior Year as student deaconess

Hello, my name is Jesemae Gael O. Gale from the Philippines. I am taking a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education at Harris Memorial College, Taytay Rizal Philippines. I am now in my senior year and by God’s grace, am in my final year before becoming a full-fledged deaconess. Today, I would love to share my experiences in the last semester and testify to God’s grace and goodness in my life.                 In my third year or junior year, I had a combination of online classes and face-to-face classes. Last February, we had face-to-face classes for the very first time after two and a half years of online classes caused by the pandemic which made me experience the hands-on training of becoming a deaconess as I lived in the dormitory and be appointed at church outside the Harris community. I would like to share that we have tra...

Sermon- Being a living Testimony for Christ

Text: Matthew 5:16 NRSV In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. Theme: Being a living Testimony for Christ Introduction: When a child does something either good or bad. The people will ask, who's his/her parents? (Sino kaya ang mga magulang nito?)   Because many people believe in the saying " what a tree is, so its fruit" (kung ano ang puno siya rin ang bunga). In relation to the message of God today, our life brings testimony of what we believe in and who we believe in. As Christians, we have a connection with God and we are God's ambassador in this world. God became the source of our lives. But how are we carrying the name of the Lord as we continue to live day to day? Body: Three point- Discussion ----Know that God is the source of light. Just like how a light brings brightness to a dark room, we can let God shine in the world. God is the reason why we are ab...

Maging Kaibigan ng Diyos

Santiago 4:4  "Mga taksil!
